About The Tiger Global Case Competition
The Friendliest and Largest International Case Competition for High School Students
The Tiger Global Case Competition is an annual Business, Entrepreneurship and Consulting Case Competition open to all high school students. The selective nature of the competition ensures the high calibre of competitors each year, while its growing prestige in the industry stems from the unique opportunity it provides students: to develop practical business acumen, apply their problem-solving skills, and challenge themselves creatively and analytically to overcome real-world challenges. The Tiger Global Case Competition is officially partnered with Tiger Management and sponsored by Crimson Education.
In 2018, the case competition will consist of two key rounds; the regional round that will be held in locations across Europe, South East Asia and Australasia, in addition to the global final round that will be held in Canberra, Australia. To compete in the case competition, students must register their interest as either a team of 3-4 or individual (the committee will group individual registrants into teams). All teams will then be briefed on their regional case, and asked to submit their solutions electronically. Selected teams will present for regional judges, who will then choose 1-3 teams to represent their region in the global round, which will be held in August at the Australian National University. See competition format.
Ultimately, teams will have 32 hours to work through a business scenario, identifying key priorities, weighing benefits and addressing risks before drafting a strategic plan which they must present to a corporate judging panel in a level-playing field.
